[Rhodes22-list] Any interest in keeping the R22 going?

Cindy,
I remember an overnight at your place with Stan and a few others during the '07 show with s/v Mary Jane. I was in a sleeping bag on the floor as I recall.
I would like to find a rudder if Skip has one available.
Our boat is so classic, and I wonder if a Catalina might want to enhance their boat offerings with the Rhodes 22. Certainly would be a plus for their quality image.
Best to you, Cindy,Arr Czerwonky

My brother, Skip Spitzer, asked me to post this message (below) to the

"Hi everyone. For those of you who don't know me, I'm Stan's youngest son.
As many of you know (perhaps some too well), over the years Stan
periodically sought a co-owner for General Boats. He needed capital, help,
and (in later years) a path toward continuing the business after his
passing. We're working on maintaining parts availability and securing a
place for memorabilia, but even better would be a new owner that could keep
the Rhodes 22 in production. Certainly a long shot, but please let us know
if you, or anyone you know, might be interested in acquiring the business.
In the past, that meant working with Stan and his, let's say, strong
beliefs about how to do things. A new owner now would have clearer sailing."

Perhaps this can be a joint effort, perhaps not.  In any case, the General
Boats Parts Department is open as always.  And we have a few viable used
Rhodes 22'a available for sale.

For whoever may be going, enjoy the Annapolis Sailboat Show on this
beautiful fall day!
