[Rhodes22-list] Memorial/Celebration of life for Stan

 Unfortunately we are unable to join in the Annapolis celebration of Stan's amazing life.  Yesterday we were able to sail here in the Adirondack's with the remnants of some beautiful fall colors.  Although winds gusted above 20 KTS, Stan's IMF made for a very comfortable sail.  Stan will forever be in our hearts!

Instead, I'll be preparing Dadventure to haul at the end of Saturday, lowering the mast taking care of the mooring and tackle. 
I like to clean the bottom before I pull it because I can never get to the keel with the Power-washer once it’s on the trailer and I will go one more year before I repaint the bottom. 
The water is getting a bit chilly up here o Long Island. 
The Rhoades 22 is the Perfect boat for me and Shinnecock Bay
Owning, maintaining and improving the boat over the years has brought me more joy than I can express. 
Thank you to Stan and all of you for the great community that we share.
I”ll be sure to pause and rise  a glass at 3:00 pm with all of you in mind.
