Hi Larry,    Congratulations on your new (to you) boat.  You've come to the right place for answers.  While I can't tell you what these things are, I'm pretty sure they are not original.  The chrome fitting looks like it could be an anchor point for a frame, perhaps to provide shade if they're on both sides.  No idea about the trailer fitting.  I'm sure someone will chime in with more helpful advice.
