Sail Trim for Racers Lecture by Jerry Latell- 0930, 1 February 2025

This week's PMU lecture should be of interest to all of our racers AND
cruisers as well as the occasional day sailor who just want to understand
how to get the best performance out of their sails Our lecturer this week
is well known to many of us in the Southern Bay, sailor and sail maker
Jerry Latell, founder and owner of Latell and Ailsworh Sailmakers LLC in
Deltaville, a member of the Evolution Sails Group. Jerry has been a PMU
lecturer on several occasions over the years, and never fails to provide a
top notch presentation. Jerry will provide a load of information on the
types of sail material that should be considered when buying a new racing
sail. The majority of the lecture will be focused on how to get the most
power out of the sails and tips on how to trim them properly. This will be
a highly informative lecture and although focused on racing I hope cruisers
will also be interested in it too!

Please join us at the clubhouse where the joe will be hot and so will
the Krispy Kremes! As always, if you can't be there in person, please log
in to the Zoom meeting and participate from the comfort of home- or
whatever far flung location you are at. PMU Lectures are free for everyone
and the Dean appreciates your attendance, whether an OPCYC member or not.
