[Rhodes22-list] Help! What is this?

It is missing its clevis ring that keeps it secure in its little hole where it has a bit of pressure to pop into predrilled holes in the mast, thus securing the pop top. And on some models, there is the same arrange for raising the goose neck higher or lower.
