Do not over due the tension, the 9 stay can drive the mast right thought the cabin top ;-)
1)The forstay you adjust so the mast has the right rake(most rhodes22 do not have a forstay turnbuckel so forgetaboutit :-)
2)the back stays, use the adjuster so when you tighten up the 3:1 hard the "V" does not get to small, about the strent of one arm on
the 3:1 around the cleat.
3)the boat changes shape from the trailer to the water, a light loose on the trailer, then tighten them sides on the water to be
tight but not so tight that you can play music on them(BTW only hand tight never use a tool)
4)take the boat out for a few tacks, the lee sides should be loose but not floopy. tack and do the other side, that is ONLY hand
tight.
5)when you tight the turnbukel make sure NOT to tranfer the twist to the wire, very bad things happen like loosing all the stays :-)
