Gil,
My sentiments exactly. No toe stepping desired or intended. That's why I =
tossed the whole concept out to the group (and, hopefully to Stan via =
the list for his approval) before I put anything up on the web.

Hi Mark,
I have a recycled Rhodes 22, documentation from the purchase =
in April of this year.... But I don't want to step on Stan and his GBI =
operation. I'm thinking that GBI might want to sell the docs or what =
about the copywrite issue? Do you think Stan has the files in Edenton? =
Wondering if Michael or Stan can answer this question...

Folks,
I've "volunteered" (read "Michael drafted me") some of my time to put =
together a Rhodes 22 document library for the web site. I'm thinking =
that if we pool our resources, we should be able to put together a =
pretty fair reference.=20
Here's what I've got so far from Raven's documentation:
Scanned images in .pdf format (not text), all circa 1988
Rhodes 22 Owners Manual
Rhodes 22 Mast Raising System
Barient 8P Winch=20
Bluet 206 Butane Stove=20
=20
I'd like to ask that you forward any Rhodes documentation you have in =
elecronic form to me at mark@kaynor.org. I think that at this point I'd =
like to limit submissions to items that were included in original or =
recycled boats from General Boats - things that more than one or two =
owners are likely to find useful.=20
Anyone know much about copyright laws and how they might apply to a =
project like this? I assume we'll have to obtain permission from various =
manufacturers to "reprint" their documentation. I'm also thinking about =
including URLs to appropriate resources, as well.=20
This is just slightly more than a gleam in my eye at this point, so =
I'm open to any suggestions or comments (and / or volunteers).
