I heard the sprint story before, Verizon does better then att along the east coast, in the Midwest/west it can be more spotty(i.e.
pick up "roaming" charges).
The mast mounts help on the coast, but in this case I would check a topography map, it might be a 500 foot ridge line that is the
problem their. And the carries do not see feel the market is their to install a station to get around it. if you go for the mast
mount a couple of subjections. You need a combustions antenna that does 800mhz/1800mhz/1900 mhz. The VHF/cell phones will not do it,
run a dedicated "car" antenna that will. The other thing is make sure the phone you get has the option to sit in a car kit that will
boast the power to 3 watts, the forty feet of antenna wire will "kill" the 0.06(or is it 0.6) watts handles are allowed to put out.
And use good wire.

MJM

BTW what every did you do about light in the end?
