Some big,big  percentage of info on buying a boat,even new boats, is to have it surveyed by a qualified marine surveyor,not the manufacturer, before closing. Seems like good insurance to me. what are your opinions?  Also is this 'must have book for 1st time buyers with no boat construction experience? thanx, gene from bloomsburg,pa
