the rule of thumb is 5-15% or using 4200 ponds 210-630, most hitches/tow vehicles are limited to 500 punds otherwise they squat down
to much, the more the better so I would shot for 400 pounds for about 10%(leave a little fugde factor for a bad boat loading and
check your tow ratings)
