My comment's were directed at the gennie.  Obviously one can reef the main
to any size appropriate.  Unfortunately thereby unbalancing the rig.  Not so
the head sail.

Yes... the head sail can at the cost of draft shape and possibility of
permanent deformation be furled to any size but it cannot be reefed much
more then 20 to 25 percent.
