I have had the same problem - last year a paper clip took care of it. This year, the problem was beyond paper clip cleansing and, believing it was more serious, it actually delayed the launch. Seems the salt had crystalized over the winter and some compressed air had to be blown thru the hoses. It took only seconds to clear but was frustrating to track down. The yamaha folks here said it is a common problem but didn't say it occurred principally with sailors.
