Wally, and list,
We had wild winds Sat and Sun here as well.
However, the water is as high as it got last year and
predicted to go to 370, one of the highest levels ever!
Lighthouse Landing is prepared to close the marina
and tie the docks down should the level rise that far!
Steve and I moved a boat (Island Packet..nice) for its
owner to his usual slip in another marina. All the marina
staff were wildly busy with getting the remaining boats
on stands into the water, for the entire parking lot has
big waves roling into it. Docked boats were positively dancing
Sunday evening in this normally well sheltered marina.
I have had to reschedule my "Full Moon Challenge"
Race after all my prepwork!!
I am devastated, for we had several large racing boats
up from Nashville for the Govenor's Cup last weekend
who left the boats here for the 100K. Many will not be able to
participate in the later-date Race. Such a Bummer.
Mother Nature Rules.
Anne

Steady
