Lou,
You gave us half an answer. What year is this shark bait? Again,
asking price is not the same as waving cash in hand under a seller's nose
might fetch.
You will find lots of Catalina 22's in your price range. Lots of cheap
ones around. Of course it is vulnerable to sinking... probably you would
need to get one of those port-a-boats that was discussed last week.

First of all MUCH thanks for the links!
yes I am afraid of sharks who might come and eat up the only offer
I can afford right now.
the boat is in the back of a boat yard and has been un cared for but
the owner is asking
$1500. it has not been advertised recently as far as I know of.
I am also looking at a Catalina22 that day. I will take digital
pics and possibly post them if I can figure out how you guys and
gals do that on the list.
