[Rhodes22-list] Introduction---recycled in near future

Welcome to a fellow sort of Hoosier ( I bounce between docking in 
Michigan City and
mooring in Monroe Harbor in Chicago).  My mooring setup uses chocks on 
either
side of the boat about 1 foot aft of the prow.  There is a mooring 
bridle (required
in Monroe harbor) which is a Y arrangement with the base of the Y going 
to a
schakle on the buoy.  The bridles are available from the Monroe Harbor 
office
and somebody in the chicago West Marine makes them as a sideline.  You 
should
also get a mooring flag which will allow easy pickup of the mooring 
lines, especially
while single handing.
