qestion and RE: [Rhodes22-list] Just a thought.

If I were to move up, it would be to a multihull. A Dragonfly 800 folding
trimaran would be nice for something that's still trailerable. For a world
cruiser, I'd like to have a Fountaine Pajot 40 cruising catamaran.

Regarding the inclusion of other boats on the Rhodes list. If it's just a
few "foreign" boats & their owners, especially if they were previous Rhodes
22 owners; then, I guess I don't have a problem with it. If the topic is
something I'm not interested in; then, I can just hit delete & move on.
However, if the postings for, from, & about other boats come to dominate the
list; then, I would have a problem with that. What's the threshhold where
this "extraineous" traffic becomes a problem? Oh, I don't know, perhaps a
sustained level of 30-40% of the traffic on the list. The level of
extraineous traffic on the list in the last several weeks has been
noticable; but, not really a problem for me. However, I wouldn't want to
see the extraineous fraction rise much higher than it's been lately. If I
wanted to subscribe to general boating list, that's what I would have done.
I don't feel strongly about the issue; but, if the majority on the list were
in favor of a Rhodes only rule, I would support it.
