Julie, the seam strips are removable and the bow pulpit wiring runs behind the stb strip so this wire is hidden except at its entry and exit locations. there is normally a splice from the pre-wired bow pulpit and possibly a second splice from when the deck is placed onto the hull and the wire then continued to its power source. stan/gbi
