Bill:
Which jack are you looking at in the WM catalog that works for a
Rhodes Triad trailer that cost $20.00?

Much easier to go to West Marine and replace it. $20.
It'll last for 3 years, then buy another.

The moving parts on my three year old (triad) trailer swivel tongue jack
are frozen - both the crank handle and the spring and handle that locks and
releases the swivel pivot. I would like some guidance as to whether it is
worth trying to salvage the whole unit and, if so how to go about it. I
know tongue jacks aren't terribly expensive but if there is a relatively
easy way to loosen it up that might be easier. I have already spritzed the
visible parts with a nut loosener but to no effect. Thanks in advance.
