Rafe,

   Thanks for your offer.  I will try to let you know when we leave. 
 I am behind on spring boat chores. I hope to finish getting the boat 
ready this weekend and will launch the following weekend if things 
work outther looks good and the wea.  Last time we sailed a
rhumbline from Monroe Harbor 
to Michigan City.  This took us about 7 miles offshore.  Depending 
on the conditions we may do this again or stick to the coast- which 
would take us closer to Jackson Harbor.  If we don't meet during 
my trip up I will certainly try to sail down to Jackson Harbor 
sometime this summer. 

You are right about the harnesses.  I bought one after 
our experience two years ago. I sail single handed quite often and 
don't want to wave bye-bye as the boat sails away from me.
