[Rhodes22-list] Remote Motor Control

The remote control is mounted on the forward wall of the rear lazarette.
There is a woden backing board and the cables are then fed back through
the laz to the engine through one of those rubber seals. The setup is
reasonably convenient - although on occasion I have bumped the throttle
lever when moving around the cockpit. I can take a picture next
weekend if you would like.

Where to you have the remote control mounted so it doesn't get in the way? I
just purchased a new Mercury 9.9 (4 cycle) with remote control for my 1988
Rhodes 22. Thanks

I have a Quicksilver remote control connected to a Mercury
9.9 electric start outboard on my '89. I seem to have lost
the lost the setup instructions. Does anyone have a similar
setup and maybe copy of the the instructions? I can probably
figure it out myself but I would feel a bit more warm and
fuzzy if I had a copy of the instructions.
