[Rhodes22-list] Hull speed under power

Slim,

The data from my copy of the USYRU PHRF Handicap manual says the C&C 24 is
rated at 220-230 sec/nm whereas your Rhodes 22 is rated at 258-312 sec/nm.
That means, in a PHRF handicap race, the C&C 24 would have to spot your
Rhodes 22 258 - 230 = 28 sec/nm to 312 - 220 = 92 sec/nm. This difference
in PHRF handicaps implies the C&C 24 is a lot faster than our Rhodes 22's.
Unless the C&C 24 was being sailed poorly, you never had a chance.
