I say buy them both and make a great catamaran!
Actually I would go for the upgrades, fresh or salt I never noticed the
difference for the 1st 10 years any way, al long as the saltwater upgraded
boat was taken care of and even then not to worry if Stan recycles the boat
it will make no difference in my opinion.

I'm very serious about buying one of two 1998 boats that are waiting to be
recycled at General Boats. One has been sailed only in fresh water. The
other only in saltwater. The saltwater boat has two solar panels, a built in
compass, two opening ports, and a depth/speed/wind indicator. Any strong
feelings about freshwater over saltwater or going with a boat with some
significant upgrades? Thanks for your ideas.
Phil
