[Rhodes22-list] Age old question.

Rummy,

During my 18 years of working the
"back-side-of-the-clock" I used to fly Peoria,
Illinois a lot. There was a bar accross the street
from the hotel that would let us in at 6am because the
owner liked company while he counted the money from
the previous night. They officially opened at 7am and
the third shift post office workers, nurses, and
factory workers filed in. Many also participated in a
bowling league that met at 9am. The place was between
the Federal and County courthouses and was called the
Judges Chambers. By 8am a few lawyers would stop by
to start the day and troll for clients. One day I was
there about 9am (my closing time) and one of the
lawyers had been there for about as long as I had.
"Tim, don't you have any cases today", I asked. "OH
SHIT! I've got a DUI case in five minutes" and he
then bolted out the door. We all laughed and agreed
we were glad he wasn't representing us. Anyway, based
on years of experience at the Judges Chambers, I'd say
about 6am is appropriate.
