You are not or ever will be privy to the things that have gone on!  Although
I personally don't agree with it either, so sorry you cannot understand an
explanation as to why someone made that decision and twist it into a sob
story.

I'm not in the least interested in a sob story about how the numbers of our
enlisted troops "dropped"... the truth is that the services reniged (sp?) on
many service extension contracts... written contracts... with fine, career
service men and women "let go" to be replaced with lower paid, less skilled
individuals.... modeled by corporate America with the same mindset that
states "it is good for our country to send jobs oversease".... This is
within the past 2 years.... SINCE 9/11 and the intent to declare war....

As far as it being the "right" choice... for what? give me one good reason
why we should have declared war on Iraq.... WMD's? Ha!  a ruthless dictator?
We've been in bed with so many ruthless dictators, it is impossible to keep
track of them.

so where do we stop??  Why not Saudi Arabia first... after all that's where
the terrorists came from? What about North Korea?  What about putting a stop
to the horrors that have been occurring in Africa for centuries and persist
to this day?

Give me a break... this is a politically motivated action causing untold
suffering and pain on our own people.  Anything politically motivated is
self-defined as corrupt.

Shame on us for allowing this to occur!
