Gregg,
My mast also has a self inflicted dent that does not seem to affect the
normal operation of the IMF, but it does not make it impossible to
remove the furling mechanism. Every year I plan to replace the mast
with a new one, but as the list knows, I fail repeatedly. Maybe next year.
