Rummy,
I realize Saroj is a long time list member. I have communicated with her off
list as I have family living in Hampton. I like Saroj and often I agree with
her. BUT - I think Saroj was doing as much giving (actually more) as taking.
She unloaded on Herb first and he fired back.
I have heard much worse on this list. Do you really think it is cool to tell
someone to f-off in a bar? Sorry Rummy I disagree. I ran a restaurant/bar
for 8 years. This type of language may be cool with a buddy but in a heated
exchange with someone you hardly know or just met? I don't think so. I have
had to break up to many bar fights over silly words.
Herb defended himself from some pretty harsh words. I agree he could of used
a better word than "bitch". Saroj tried to pigeon hole him into her view of
all from the right. It turns out Saroj made several mistakes about Herb in
her posts. She pre-judged him because of his politics. Sometimes people's
minds aren't really open. Closed minds limit learning; vison and hearing are
shut down.
Those of you that have been on this list realize my politics lean more
towards Saroj than Herbs but I call them like I see them.
I put up with Steve for a long time! :-) This seems pretty tame.
