[Rhodes22-list] Bilge pump locations

Rhodies,

My boat was a conglomeration of  different repair jobs when I took 
possession so I would not want to assume the position of  the pump in 
the fore end of the bilge was proper.

Q; is there a favored position of the bilge pump ie:  fore, aft or 
midships for the Rhodes?

  A good  efficient pump" should be" able to pump out the water a few 
feet laterally and only about 2 feet in height to the side of the 
sink where mine drains out to the stb through hull.

I still have the pump a  yard hand probably installed for the last 
owner but will test it at home first with some 12V power and a bucket 
of dirty water before it makes it back to the bilge.
