George,
I haven't really thought that far yet. I'm still trying to run a business
*and* deal with my "boat problem" -- 4 sailboats. Can only sail one at any
given time. They say admitting you have a problem is the first step. Does
anyone know the second step?
I've had very good results over the years with Hunter Riddle, chief of
Schurr Sails, Pensacola, FL. Having been the class measurer for the Tanzer
16 class, I've measured many one-design Schurr Sails. They have the
computerized cutting capacity to build sails to maximum size and know how to
use it.
Mack Sails, also in FL, has a good reputation too. And there's a new Doyle
Loft in Oriental run by Mark Weisenhiemer (sp?) who seems pretty competent.
A nice guy as well.
So, being a GC, I'll probably just write up a spec and put out to bid.
Logical, right?
