[Rhodes22-list] Lake Access (was "Getting ready to trailer boat")

Herb,

No one owns the shoreline on the TN River. Home owners can apply for dock
permits and they are usually granted for large fee. As Rummy mentions there
is no looking back. Hopefully locals can figure out how best to manage the
waterfront.

TVA forced out thousands to make room for the many lakes.Through the years
they have sold property back to private developers at huge profits. There
are some huge parcels of land that may be changing hands. I think for the
most part TVA has provided a good mix of private and public use.

Good luck,

Wally
