[Rhodes22-list] Carmen launches at Grass Island

Andrew,

I have not really noticed any more movement of my boat than others in our mooring field in Old Greenwich. However, I know that when my mooring was first installed my bridle was too short. Among other things that resulted in the barnacles that formed on the mooring ball putting a series of meaningful scratches on the bow. I had the bridle lenghtened and the ball bottom painted both of which helped. I know you asked a while ago about your mooring. I am not sure if you responded to Bill's question as to who installed your mooring but I wonder if too short a bridle could contribute to the bucking.
