Greg,
I think they would float but I never had the nerve to test. Inflatable bags
are out there...I am pretty sure I saw them in Defender. I had the Bantam
out in gusty conditions in Outer Banks NC. Several times I buried a rail in
strong gusts and took gallons of water over the side. Does your Bantam have
self bailing? I have thought about installing but I hate to cut holes in the
hull.
