Bob F - yup, its your (ex)boat. The hunting is due to the location:
current and swirling winds. The empty adjacent mooring was removed after I
left a message with the marine contractor, so all that is resolved. She's
just lively!
After spending more time with the Merc and being able to get out of traffic
and look at the prop and see it, the neutral point has become easier to
find. The motor runs like a top.
