Hi, Mark,
Yes, when I'm sitting on the helm seat (mounted on the
laz cover) I can reach the stern rail. I don't
remember, tho, how close I am to it....(Stan & crew
mounted a stern rail seat on the laz top to serve as a
helm seat, as I was too low & couldn't see to steer
while sitting.....
I don't think reaching back over the stern rail is
going to work, just from the sheer gymnastics of it,
if I'm trying to steer at the same time.
