[Rhodes22-list] Driving in Snow

The problem is 4WD can get you in deep every time, but not always out.

Once upon a time I lived in Massachusetts ...

And one day the "Consumer Reporter" on Channel 4 News gave
a report about all the neat things you can buy to get
yourself out of a snow bank *including a coffee can of
sand) ... upon returning to the news anchor, he said "and
don't forget your snow tires too!".  The consumer reporter
replied with "I wouldn't know .. I've never bought them".

I drove my CAMARO several snowy seasons in Massachusetts,
and never got stuck (unless you count the plow dumping a
ton of the white stuff at the end of the driveway), but did
pass many SUVs on the side of the road.

I don't believe the natives in New England know how to
drive in it either!
