[Rhodes22-list] Politics: Reply to Brad and Herb

Brad:

              Nice reply requesting specifics on alternatives.  If you look
back I asked the same question and my questions were not answered.  The only
comment I received back was to put ‘Politics’ at the beginning of a reply. 
Democrats, Liberals, Bush Haters, Socialist, North East Journalist, etc.,
what ever you want to call those holding the opinion that we should be using
alternatives, have not, nor do they seem to have the ability to propose
meaningful alternatives.  

	Herb pointed out that engineers or in blue collar language, 'doers', often
find different methods to achieve the same desired result.  But the truth is
that other than run from the problem (what ever terms you want to use to
describe their position) is the only answer that I see that has been given. 
Herb, other than cut and run no meaningful alternative approaches to the
problem have been put forth.  Are you saying that cut and run or leave the
problem for the Iraqis is a viable alternative? 

	The only approach these people use was fully developed by the Communists. 
We referred to it as the ‘Big Lie’.  The methods are simply repeat the lie
or mistruth or inaccurate statement over and over and over and over and over
….   

	Again, Brad and Herb, thank you guys for direct and on issue answers.
