Wally,
The terrorists kill our guys in Iraq are not fighting for freedom from US occupation. Just like the bomber who blew up the four Canadians (NATO Troops) handing out candy in Khandahar. They are terrorists striking out at organization that does not put them into power. In Khandahar it is Talabani or radical Islamo-facists killing their own people, women and children and in Iraq they are insurgents from other countries (except those recruited locally by the foreigners). The Iraqi authorites just found 40 bodies in Baghdad, most were bound, tortured to death or murdered with a shot to the head. They were all Iraqis. I don't see how they are fighting our occupation by killing Iraqis. Even the "Resistance" didn't kill their own on that scale to rid themselves of the NAZIs. Neither did the partisans in the USSR.
