Federal District Attorneys serve at the pleasure of the President or his
Attorney General.  It is not a civil service appointment.  It is purely
political.  No cause necessary to dismiss.  No reason need be given.  All
this rubish in the press is your cronies attempt to discredit Bush.  

I am sorry that you do not comprend the mechanics of the appointment,
however, I doubt that it is not lack of understanding but your anarchist
motivations.

Ask From Crawford how these appointments work.
