significant glass repairs have been made. But the work seems to have
been done well and I have no complaints.
There is a steaming light on the mast and it works. There are also
mast lights on the spreaders, which do not work (the lights, not the
spreaders ;-) ) I thought that might what the two wires were for,
but I traced the mast light wires thru the connector and they don't
go to those orphaned wires. Possibly there was a dome light for the
forward part of the cabin. I haven't put a meter on them yet to see
if they get any power from any of the switches. More detective work
will track it down eventually.
I'm a little concerned about the amount of ventilation I'll get with
only the one small opening hatch. As you know, the sun will get
mighty strong down here and I'll want to keep the cabin cooled off as
much as possible. I may need to install some dorade boxes or other
venting solution to move more air thru there.
Hoping to get out for our first trip under sail later today
(Sunday). Winds 10-15, high around 60.
Cheers!
John Lock
