Brad,
Before I moved to Maryland I worked on Coast Guard Island in the Oakland
estuary. That's how I got into sailing as the commute from Stockton was
killing me. I bought a boat and slipped it at a nearby marina for about
$300 a month and slept on it 2-3 nights a week.
