[Rhodes22-list] Sailboat broach, capsize, rescue in SF bay

Hank,

How long ago?  There is a marina just south of the Oakland airport that I've
had my eye on for years but never visited.  I did meet a guy who lived there
at the Oakland boat show a few years ago but forgot how much he paid for
slip space.  One of the S2 9.2's I looked at before buying mine in Maryland
was in Alameda.  Alex could buy a pretty nice boat for about $30K and live
on it for less than sharing a land based home.  Of course I don't have a
selfish interest in him buying a sailboat in the Bay area.
