[Rhodes22-list] Lift range of 7:1 outboard mount

I guess what I don't understand is why people are getting shafts so long.
Instead of a lift that changes the balance of your boat by lifting a
heavy motor way above the water line, why not get a shorter shaft,
lighter engine?
My 20" shaft works just fine most of the time, and I don't have to carry
it too high all the rest of the time.
