Luis,

The irony of my personal squirrel dilemma is that as a kid, I roamed the
woods and shot them with my father, but also raised them at the same time.
My older brothers would raid nests and bring a couple of baby squirrels home
in the spring which we would raise on doll bottles.  My mother would insist
they be thrown out once they started running up the curtains.  They never
ventured further than the elm trees in our front yard after a few months of
human contact.  Frankly, that was a long time ago and squirrels were kinder
and gentler then.  It is all out war now.  I like the idea of having some
'ball bearing anti-squirrelers' around but cats turn socialistic given the
first opportunity.  At least all mine did.
