Dave,
All of our (previous) boats have had a window in the
bimini. There was a Sunbrella flap on the inside which
rolled up to expose the clear window. Unfortunately,
this leaves the window exposed to the sun, but the
newer materials don't deteriorate as the older stuff
did.
If you can get the bimini off the frame there is no
reason why you cannot install the window yourself.
Installing one in my bimini is one of this winter's
projects.
Check Sailrite.com...or call them (800-348-2769) for
info about what you want to do...they are easy to
speak to and will help you with materials , etc.
