Hi Dan,
This is how we use our boat. One way to look at options is to look at
what is easier to have factory installed vs what you can install
later. You want to make your decisions about head configuration,
hatches, major wiring, shore power, motor lift, furling, captains
chairs, radio and antenna up front. We went with new sails and were
glad we did. A bimini is nearly a must for Chesapeake sailing. I
would go with a pop-top enclosure before I went with the boom room
unless you know you'll be sleeping people in the cockpit. The new
boom room design seems to take the place of the pop-top enclosure so
you might want to delay that purchase just a bit until you are sure
