Rob,
I vote for you for Chief Cherry Picker. The tax cuts for the so called *
uber* rich have worked. After all, they are the ones who pay the taxes
(read my previous post or do your own research at irs.gov.) We had a
balanced budget during the last years under Clinton because their was a big
mood swing in 1994 and the new Congress wouldn't fund new social programs
and the dot.com boom brought in record tax revenues. As a good friend of
mine says, "Clinton is the best conservative President we ever had." Bush
43 changed all that. He's been a huge social spender, Medicare and the
Dept. of Education just to name two, and yes, war costs a hell of a lot of
money.
Your second observation is so silly I shouldn't even comment. Read "The
Looming Towers". Every President since FDR owns a piece of 9/11. Maybe we
should start evaluating Presidential candidates on the quality of their ESP.
Brad
PS - Breathe easy everyone, I really, really do have to go to work.
