I totally agree, glad I struck a nerve or maybe a synapse that hasn't
been hit since "the usual drug and dissension traps" :)
If it weren't for The Band, we would have missed out on tons of other
great music.

You struck a nerve there. I was a huge Band fan, saw them about
6 times in the 70's. "The Band" was the classic album of the time and
their work with Dylan on tour and on the Basement tapes was great
music. There were a few flashes after "The Band", but they fell into
the
usual drug and dissension traps.
