Not only does the GB motor mount distribute the load (I think)
differently, I think the load is different because we don't need to
tilt the motor (always lift it straight up and down). I suspect that
a motor on a standard off the shelf mount acts like a lever working
on the transom. That being said we are going to inspect the mount today
