Sorry the late reply--I've been out. I don't know off hand what my boat
stands measured. They and the boat are in storage and inaccessible. But
the minimum can be higher than the stern when it's on the trailer. With
jacks on all three corners of the trailer, I raise the trailer as high as it
goes (just about off its wheels) and then put the stands in place, block up
the bow with heavy timbers and lower the trailer down. Then crank up the
boat stands and you should have plenty enough room to paint. Sorry I don't
have the measurement but mine might be different from your boat on your
trailer. Measure from the ground to the hull to get your minimum.
