Folks,

All people who are in public office are not crooks.  Some are meticulously
honest.  In fact more are honest than are crooks.  

In case you have never gotten to know some public officials,  some are
competant and good people who put up with all the trash that they have to
put up with because they know someone has to do the job and they are willing
to do.

I have personally known and still know those who are called politicians of
both major parties and several minor parties.  I have known and still know
Governors, U. S. Senators, U. S. Congressmen, State Senators, State
Representatives, county officials, city officials, special service
districts, school board members.

If you take time to meet them, help them, support them, you will find most
are overwellmingly good people.  Everyone on this forum should take time to
meet them.  They will greet you.  They will talk to you.  They will be
appreciative of your comments even when opposite of theirs.

Yes there are crooks.  And there are those who have lapses in good
judgement.  It is for you as a citizen to know who is who.  It is your
obligation.

those of us of average intelligence.  For those who are not at least average
intelligence, it is your personal problem.
