[Rhodes22-list] a new world is coming to the rhodes22 list

Ron,
I'm waiting for the tone to improve as well. As I recall, you were the first to drop off because "it wasn't good for 'Michelle's children'". You couldn't stand the heat in the kitchen so you left. Let's call a spade a spade. You were bitching the last time I recall because your funding was cut at your job. Yes? And now you're back because you have "HOPE". Exactly what did that have to do with sailing? We now live in a 'kinder and gentler world' and this kind of negative talk isn't tolerated? If you haven't noticed, I'm begging you to throw me off the list. I'm insisting! Show me your true colors. Ah yes, you're building a better world and a better list. How's that Nirvana working out for you versus reality. You drop out of the discussion when it gets a bit difficult and then drop back in when it's convenient? THAT is what this little 'tempest in a teapot' is all about, reality. This list is but a small microcosm of the bigger
world. You think "if I can just cure this list it will cure all the problems".
Folks, hang on! Part of being conservative is having enough left to help your neighbor in need. Kick me off, or Ed, Herb, even Bill (God help his soul) but I'm not fooled about what's going on here. You want the world to work your way - and we're the problem?
It's just words. Deeds are where your heart is!
Brad
Let's cut to the chase here. There's lot's of lists. There's lot's of blogs. There's lot's of sailboats. This is one of the few places where you can discuss boats, sailing, politics, sailing, family, dogs, sailing, boats - but someone got offended (Rummy) after 8 years and you, drunk with your new power, want to take over a family.
Is that good for Michelle's kids?
Ron, if you think I'm poking a stick in your eye, let there be no doubt. I'm poling a baseball bat in your eye. Are you awake?
Someone, anyone, please officially kick me off the list so I can retire in peace in of the apartments I own in communist China.
Brad

Thanks Michael and John, I hope the new regime works out. I am willing to
hang around a white
longer and see if the tone improves.
